Daiquiri

Made my very first cocktail, Daiquiri. Daiquiri is one of the six basic drinks listed in The Fine Art of Drinks by David Embury. The other five are Jack Rose, Manhattan, Martini, Old Fashioned and Sidecar.

Ingredients:

White Rum (Bacardi): 2 oz
Simple Syrup: 3/4 oz
Lime Juice: 3/4 oz

Mixology: Shake

Served: Up

The combination of 2oz of Rum, 3/4oz of Simple Syrup and 3/4oz of fresh Lime Juice were so good, I had to make a second glass.
